Improv Comedy 101

You’ve seen improv shows around Chicago. You enjoy watching them. You’re intrigued about trying that bizarre nonsense (but oh-so-clever) that takes place on stage, but you’re not ready to commit to an 8 week, $300 session at a local theater.

This class will introduce dabblers to the basics of improv. You’ll have the chance to learn and practice the fundamentals of improvisational theater in a comfortable, fun and no pressure environment.

Still on the fence? Improv hones listening skills and creativity. It offers the chance to escape your normal responsibilities and rediscover childlike play. Come one, come all, whether you’re interested in pursuing success in the improv world or if you just want to relax, laugh and have a great time.

Materials required:
Comfortable clothing
A willingness to be silly
